Tete-a-Tete with…Mahi Kaur

1. So Mahi, how did you got involved in modelling?Mahi: It was all of a sudden. I never dreamt of becoming a model. In fact I wanted to be a scientist. But then you have to flow with the flow of your destiny and my destiny landed me here.

2. How long have you been a model? From where did you get started?Mahi: 3 years to be precise. My career was triggered by my portfolio. Having a good folio is very much essential because it attracts opportunities for your growth.

3. So, now as you have turned actress with your upcoming movie, how different is it to act in a movie from modelling? What do you like more?
Mahi: In acting you can give retakes and you don’t have to sit in a certain posture for long you can express yourself with words. Whereas in modelling you have to express with your body language and expressions. Though I am doing a movie, and looking forward to work in more films, modelling will always remain my first love.

4. What kind of roles do you prefer?
Mahi: I am just beginning my career, therefore I have much scope for experimentation. If I have to swear by any rule it will be that I should be able to connect with the character at some level. But I am also fascinated by the power and authority of negative roles.

5. Is it true the saying “if you set your mind to it you can do it”?Mahi: Of course, how else do you think I have been working.

6. Anyways, enough of serious stuff, lets move to some light topics, so Now that you’re single, you must get hit on a lot.
Mahi: Lol who said I am single? I am very much in a committed relationship

7. Ouch with that answers you just broke many hearts, anyways, what part of your body are you most proud of?Mahi:

8. how do you keep yourself so sexy and beautiful, what’s your secret???
Mahi: Oh believe me, I don’t do a thing, Its a god gift.

9. What is some advice that you would give to someone aspiring to become an actor?
Mahi: Be what you are. Don’t destroy your personality while imitating someone else and you are good to go.
